Just Musing...

Do the faults of others make our own seem faint

Do the flaws of others wash away ours

Do the errors of others make ours less obvious

And do the shortcomings of others make ours more tolerable

So quickly we assuage our guilt with prattle about someone else’s mistakes

And it is indeed prattle that attempts to silence the tiny voice within that reminds us of our own failures

Love when there is still time

Smile and laugh and show your gratitude while there is still a chance

For there will come a day when the prattle and the voice will be silenced

And the opportunity to love, smile, laugh and give will be lost

And all that matters will fade away
